Designed specifically for pillow cleaning, our Pillow-Vac machine uses ozone emitting germicidal lights to kill dust mites, sanitize and deodorize the filling. While ozone is very powerful, it has a very short life-cycle. When contaminants such as odours, bacteria or viruses make contact with ozone, they are destroyed completely by oxidation. Within minutes after cleaning, the ozone dissipates leaving nothing behind.
First your old pillow is cut open and emptied into a tumble chamber which has rotating brushes that expose everything to the germicidal lights, while breaking up clumps and fluffing the down while sifting out any dust that has been trapped inside. If your pillow is feather and or down, we can add more filling to bring it back to the density of a new pillow. At the end of the cleaning cycle the clean filling is blown back into a 100% cotton, high thread count, feather and down proof ticking.
